    LIVEABOARD EXPEDITIONS

A liveaboard puts you on the water for days at a time, diving remote sites that are simply not reachable on a day trip. You wake up at the dive site. You do multiple dives a day. You eat, sleep, and decompress with the same group of people for the duration of the expedition.

The format works because immersion accelerates everything. Your diving improves fast. Your understanding of what you are seeing deepens. And the people you share the boat with tend to become the kind of friends you actually keep.

Each expedition has its own certification requirements depending on the destination and the diving involved. Some are open to newly certified divers. Others are better suited to those with more experience in the water. Check out the Expeditions page for specifics.

    BAJA EXPEDITIONS

I first came to Baja California in 2016 and have called it home since 2018. These expeditions are built around the places I know best, and the seasonal wildlife events that make the Sea of Cortez one of the most extraordinary bodies of water on earth.

The Sea of Cortez sits at the convergence of cold Pacific upwellings and warm tropical waters. The result is a rare overlap of temperate and tropical species found almost nowhere else. This is not a tropical reef destination but something more complex and, to me, more interesting than that.

Baja Expeditions are designed for divers and non-divers alike. Each expedition is different. Check out the Expeditions page to find out who each expedition is designed for.
